Lucero entered and looked around, it appeared to be a command room which likely had a bunch of important information. "Someone look at the computers and try to find a ship layout and info, maybe we can find where the prisoners are."

"Cover the doors." He seemed disappointed now, seeing that there wasn't really anyone to shoot following the first team's entry. No matter. He marshalled his team to the entrance of the room and marched over a computer to try and do just that.

Two officers did as Lieutenant Ughaz'udan, had ordered and watched the door. On the computer he would see that there was a lot of tactical information on the other ship and on Eventide.

Just then the two walked by seeing the door was missing they investigated and looked inside they acted surprised and pulled their disruptors out.

Luckily for the security team, there were still men watching the door that had it covered. So even as Louisa turned to prepare the Klingons would've both been standing in front of two officers with phaser rifles.

Walking directly into two awaiting officers was not what the Klingon duo had anticipated. One had been prepared from the off and immediately took a shot at the closest Starfleet officer before making an attempt to move aside and find cover before fire could be returned. The second - older, it seemed, and not as fast - didn't have time to raise their own disruptor. Instead they could only try what they knew best and began to charge forwards, disruptor raised and ready to use it as a blunt-force weapon against the other officer in the doorway.

The Klingon was evidently not as skilled as their colleague. Taking the blow directly to the face, they were immediately knocked off balance and clattered into the arch of the doorway, only just managing to keep a hold on their disruptor. The other had gone to take a shot but moved at the last second in fear of hitting his colleague: the bolt shot past Ughaz'udan's head and just missed creating a nice burn-mark to his scales.

[Comms] "Under attack by two Klingons in what seems to be the strategic command room." Louisa stated on the comm before popping briefly out of cover to take a shot at the standing Klingon to stun them.

It appeared that this Klingon viewed the other as a liability more than anything. Despite their previous small-talk and conversing with one another it was soon made evident that they weren't friends: still-standing Klingon grabbed staggered-Klingon and shoved them in front of himself so they would take the hit. Quickly discarding his colleague's limp body afterwards by unceremoniously tossing it to the side, they then took a shot at Lucero in return. Not having taken the time to aim properly it ended up missing - but instead hit one of the panelled walls behind them, creating a shower of sparks as it shorted out.

It was unexpected for the Klingon to just toss their comrade in front of them to take the blast, but it didn't take long for Louisa to quickly duck back into cover as the panel behind her sparked. She listened for possible audio queues of what the Klingon might be doing. She didn't want to blind fire due to the positioning of Ughaz.

For a moment there was nothing - then the sound of a single footstep as the Klingon shifted position, and following it was the sound of something cutting through the air, having been thrown. A d'k tahg was skillfully thrown directly in Lucero's direction -- but moments later Ughaz'udan's aim spoke true and there was a dull thwump against the floor as the Klingon slid to the ground.

Luckily for Lucero she was behind cover as the d'k tahg flew just past where she was, it stuck into a computer console. She heard the thwump and peaked out of cover to see the Klingon having slid onto the ground, evidently stunned by Ughaz. She slowly got out from behind cover, grabbing the d'k tahg out of the computer console that it was stuck in. It would make an interesting thing to have. "Good job, Lieutenant." She complimented Ughaz'udan's skills at combat before tapping her comm-badge. [Comm] "Lucero to Eventide, we're advancing to the weapons control room now. The Klingons were dealt with."

Or at least he tried to. Having acted as though he had been shot and knocked out, the Klingon waited until he heard the footsteps of one of the two Starfleet officers beside him. Lunging out from his prone position against the wall, one hand suddenly grasped around one of Ughaz'udan's ankles - and the fleshy part of his other ankle found a second d'k tagh plunged into it.

Fine. Having his face slashed by a Hur'q's disgusting claws was nothing compared to this. Following a cry of pain he fired down at the offending Klingon with his phaser rifle with extreme prejudice.

Louisa was prepared to set out when she noticed the Klingon spark to life, also firing at him but at his torso as it was easier to avoid hitting Ughaz by accident. "They're more resilient than they let off sometimes." Louisa exclaimed after firing upon the Klingon.

Multiple phaser-shots would do it, and this time the Klingon did genuinely slump to the ground unconscious. The area was now clear for the two to proceed through.
